"the more power a government has over your media, your money, your health etc., the more power it has over you." No, the less regulation the government has over corporate interests, the more corporations have to impose THEIR will over you. Corporations operate for profit, without regard to people. Their only check is government. If members of the government become corrupted, then the solution is new government members (not less government).

Yes, I saw that nonsense. It's funny that the evil in that film is the EPA, abortion, Hillary, Gore, Gates and Buffett -- all Democratic causes. As I said, you have absolutely no idea what Alex Jones' motives are. He is a hack who follows the psuedo-religion of John Birch theories, a radically, right wing club. Many of the problems he rails about have in fact come about because of a massive deregulation movement that has purposefully given control to corporate power. That came from Neocons.

The right wing voted to deregulate media so that one owner can own more than one newspaper; more than one television station; & a television station & a newspaper in the same market. So, deregulation lead to media monopolies where one company can pump out lies about their sponsors. That's why the above story happened. Without government checks, you have corporate fascism. Which is what the "Reagan revolution" brought us. The EPA & FDA haven't been working because they have been under Rep control

I understand your Screen name,,,Yes you are mostly there!!! I didn't understand it though are u against Ron Paul? Smaller Gov't does not mean more media,or less regulation.right now there is to much bias media and NO regulation, and no one is being prosecuted for corporate crimes or MANY other crimes.Democ-RATS and the Repubilc-RATS are all the same. Really do you're research on WHO IS trying to save US.FDA and EPA are good if they are doing their job, they haven't been doing it right 4 awhile. |
