Naomi Klein should have listened to him before she wrote that Schock Theory book. Maybe she would have got it right instead of writing bunch of lies. Everybody in mainstream media blames free market economy for current crisis. However this is not capitalism that we should blame but corporationism. The question is whether it is possible to break those connections between government, corporations and labour unions. I think it's gonna be hard because it will threaten various interest groups.

I rarely reply to comments, but it's precisely this sort of nonsense that is enough to drive me to waste my time in such a manner. CAPITALISM has not caused the problems we have, it's been INTERFERENCE with capitalism that has caused the issues. The market is never allowed to stabilize due to emotional reactions such as the Bailout, and its been going on since the New Deal of FDR. We're STILL paying the bill for the New Deal, and our grandchildren will be paying the bill for our mistakes today. |
