2008 Jones Beach Airshow - F-22 Raptor & Heritage Flight
F-22 Raptor DemonstrationMajor Paul "Max" MogaUSAF Heritage FlightF-22 Raptor & P-51D MustangMaj. Moga & Ed Shipley2008 Jones Beach AirshowJones Beach State ParkJones Beach, New YorkSunday May 25, 2008IN THIS VIDEO, watch as Major Paul "Max" Moga flies an absolutely SPECTACULAR demonstration in the F-22 Raptor. Keep in mind that this aircraft is flown in its complete combat configuration, with all of its weapons carried internally. The Raptor possesses a clean configuration when completely combat configured, as weapons and fuel tanks hung externally from the aircraft will compromise its stealth characteristics. The aircraft's maneuverability is exceptional. You've seen demonstration videos of Sukhois and MiGs from Russia and the Ukraine perform almost the same maneuvers that Max flies in the Raptor, but Max's F-22 is in a combat configuration, while the MiGs and Sukhois are stripped down for their demonstrations.Following the demonstration, you will see Max join up with Ed Shipley - founder of AirShowBuzz.com - in a P-51D Mustang (yes, he's flying Glamorous Gal!) for a Heritage Flight.Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .
