You can always say that "we had a better tank", but the truth is that Germany was always ahead in everything except numbers. you can say that you had the Pershing, but it was produced in small numbers, it could be compared against Königstiger. M10-tank killer was still far inferior to the great Jagdpanther. And it wasnt only the tanks, thanks to Guderian ja Rommel the Panzerarm and its tactics were developed by germany. Others used it in 1939, but Wehrmacht were the ones to know HOW to use them

Pershing was prouduced in small numbers... so was the M10.That could be the tiger they made for Saving PR and BOB. Villers Bocage 4ever

Unfair comparision, true. But it is what happened in WW2.

True, the sherman vs tiger battle is unfair. Sherman was a medium and the tiger was a big heavy. The mark4-sherman comparison would be better. A Tiger's comparison would be better off with a pershing. The pershing was supposed to be on par with the panther but yet it handled the tigers and even killed a Kingtiger in it's first meeting. |
