You got that right.I watched a light 757 leave Grand Cayman a few years back and was stunned at the short ground roll and angle of attack during climbout. My daughter-in-law was aboard that flight and was also impressed,she wet her knickers.

Nothing's like a 757 takeoff. Back in August flew in a fully loaded DL 757 and the plane took off like it was nothing. Most overpowered plane ever. Too bad it ended production because used 757s are in high demand now for trans-atlantic routes.

And no I wasn't dissing Rolls engines, the RB211 is one of the best engines ever built they just aren't this aircraft.
