Personally, I love this song in the studio version. It really has that evil boogie simple-hypnotic thing that really works for me. I'd rather have this raw feeling than the boring songs that plague Essence, for instance. On the other hand, according to what I listened so far it seems that Lucinda can't pull this song live. Don't know why.

Bruce is a killer guitar player ( what isn't he)....any doubt, give a listen to his leads on Prove It All Night, Adam Raised A Cain and Because The Night. Hey, maybe Barak will appoint him Secretary of State....works for me !

oh man i saw her play last night at the WaMu at MSG in NYC.. she played this one boy was she on!!!! what a great show. i met the whole band except the drummer after the show on the street at 1 A.M. Before that I asked Lucinda to give me a hug and she started to come over but then her up tight security guards directed her towards the limo so she apologized and blew me a kiss

She is great & I wonder if she's been influenced by the great songwriter / artist Essra Mohawk. Essra wrote Cyndi Lauper's "Change of Heart" & Tina Turner's "Stronger Than The Wind." |
