Stumbled upon this by accident. The performance of "It's Too Late" is wonderful but what follows is in another category altogether. Johnny Cash, Eric Clapton and the great Carl Perkins playing "Matchbox." What a great way to begin the New Year.

Listen buddy I've been listening this album since I was all of nine years old. It's one of my favorite albums of all time and I'm now thirty-two. I'm all too familiar with the whole Delaney and Bonnie, Leon Russell, Dave Mason, Bobby Whitlock, Eric Clapton gang of 1970. After all Jim Gordon hit on my mom bud! |
