I stand corrected Great Version of Sultans and what a better back up then Clapton! Man Knopfler and Buckingham?!! Both clean and smooth as silk! And I saw someone wrote Knopfler looked like jerry seinfeld and YADA YADA YADA...I don't see it..

Knopfler's tone and picking style are second to none... Clapton wasn't saving it up; just letting Mark do his thing and enjoying it, I'm sure. Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac is another great finger-picker with great tone... would love to see him and Knopfler together
