not a big fan of slayer I like Testament alot but in my opinion after listening to alot of both if u compare the Best of what metallica has to offer with the best of what Testament had to offer Metallica would win but if you compare the flaws of metallica with the flaws of Testament then Testament would win

The people that beat metallica happen to be from the same area and come from the same time. Testament personally and a majority vote that they have retained their heavy sound and original sound not to mention their music is more real. Metallica's become so water downed cause their is no feeling in their music anymore. They sounded better before they went to rehab. Another band not my personal vote but Slayer another band that is from the same Florida metal scene.
