I love this version of the song. If Green Day didn't do it, I probably wouldn't even know it existed. This song like covers my life and having Green Day do it is awesome because I've been huge fans of them for like forever

Dunno, I kinda like the flow of Greenday's vocals better. I agree the other instruments weren't necessary though. Greenday should do an unplugged version of it.Still, it's definitely a good cover - decidedly Greenday while keeping the spirit of the original.

This version is good but John Lennon's one is the best. The other instruments were not necessary.
