You're right, I'm sorry. Some idiots wanted to compare Kiss to Thin Lizzie, and the folly of that compelled me to rebut those ideas. Thin Lizzie was musically one of the most original bands of all time. The guitar work on "Cowboy"," Whiskey in the Jar" and "Boys are Back" , their best known tunes, just yank on my aortas. Sweet harmony and well placed licks. Like Dave Gilmour, just very tastefully done, and impossible to top. Sorry that Phil Lynott is gone, I miss his musical wizardry.

Additional to prior comments. I don't have to use juvinile explitives to make a point. I know more about Rock music than you know about your mother's wardrobe. Terrance, do some research of your own. If you think Kiss is all that than perhaps you spent too much time with comic books in your left hand rather than Playboy. Rush kicks ass much like Lizzie does, Steely Dan? A different genre,and WTF is "D&D"? Don't hate what you can't comprehend. Accept your ignorance and live well my friend. LIZZIE

Okay kids, we have a moron here. Steely Dan and Rush? WTF???? Terrance2786, what are you like 12? I don't have to do any research to know that Ace Frehly was a shlock. He inspired no-one to do anything except maybe look like Rosie Odonnell in drag. I lived through that period as a musician. I saw Frehley with his "Comets", opened for Iron Maiden in Philly in '89. Got booed off the stage. I have some musical credentials my friend, Thin Lizzie eats Kiss "ALIVE" and you don't have a clue. Sorry. |
