I'm not sure if they are, but if they were, would it really matter? It's about the music, man/woman/person.

I remember this song, in high school, back in 1975. I was a pretty young and inoncent thang, grew in to a beautiful woman. that love earth, wind and fire, music.

You are right, straightandkink917. Every blue moon if the stars are aligned just right, love may actually arise from a one-night-stand if "Reasons" are mutual and feelings last. And yes the LIVE Gratitude album has the best version of this song. As for the Carpenters & things being easy, I co-sign. Music isn't what it used to be. We're blessed to have the legends living and dead on vinyls, 45s, 8-tracks, cassettes, VHS, CDs, DVDs and now MP3s or whatever technology ushers in next. :)

:) Or......perhaps a one-night stand is all it really takes to fall in love? Not for everyone, certainly. But maybe for some that IS all it takes to know they were truly meant for each other.I do see your point about the "aftermath," BTW.It was all easier back in my era: Everyone then chose the Carpenters & "We've Only Just Begun," for weddings.I can certainly appreciate the humor in your comment.BTW, and FWIW, the BEST version of this song is heard on the "Gratitude" Live Album.
